Estudo de caso do gerenciamento de resíduos sólidos de uma obra predial em Curitiba/PR

Abstract

The indiscriminate consumption of natural resources by civil construction has been increasingly questioned, given that, for the most part, these materials are nonrenewable, só there are two sources of concern: the exploitation of non-renewable resources and the generation of construction waste (RCC). This study aimed to analyze the solid waste management of a building work completed in 2021, located in the city of Curitiba in the state of Paraná. To this end, data referring to the estimate of solid waste generation were collected, as well as the solid waste generated during the execution of the work studied. Through the results obtained from the Solid Waste Management Report (RGRCC) it was possible to verify that Class A waste (ceramic materials and soil) corresponds to the largest portion of the RCC generated, with class A soils represented by (86, 19%), and class A composed of (4.43%), followed by class B residues (9.05%), then class C (0.18%) and, finally, class D with 0 .15% of the waste generated in the work. Overall, the work generated approximately 21% less waste than was estimated in the Solid Waste Management Plan (PGRCC).
