| Resumo: | O presente trabalho acadêmico tem como temática principal a análise da realização do ‘r’ na posição de ataque silábico na comunidade de Barra Grande, uma comunidade de maioria descendentes italianos, localizada no interior do Paraná. Mais precisamente, o objetivo do estudo foi investigar o uso do r-fraco (tepe) ou a preservação do r-forte (vibrante) em formas como rato, carro, nesta comunidade. O embasamento teórico teve como foco a sociolinguística e a Teoria da variação (LABOV (2008 [1972]), MONARETTO (2008), MOLLICA (2010), LORIATO E PEREZ (2013), TARALLO (2007), BRAGA (2010), OLIVEIRA E SILVA (2010) entre outros. O trabalho foi desenvolvido a partir de entrevistas com moradores da comunidade, com faixa etária entre 20 e 85 anos, de sexo feminino e masculino, com níveis de escolarização do nível fundamental até o superior. O estudo evidencia a prevalência do uso do r-fraco (tepe), na comunidade em pessoas mais velhas e com menor escolaridade, e a gradativa substituição r-fraco (tepe) pelo r-forte nos falantes mais jovens com níveis maiores de escolaridade. |
| Abstract: | The present academic work seeks to analyze the realization of the ‘r’ in the syllabic attack position, in the community of Barra Grande, the community has a large number of Italian descendants and it is located in the countryside of Paraná state. Furthermore, the research objective is to explore the weak R (tepe) or the preservation of strong-r (vibrant) in words like mouse and car, by members of this community. The theoretical foundation are sociolinguistic and linguistic variation linguística (LABOV (2008 [1972]), MONARETTO (2008), MOLLICA (2010), LORIATO E PEREZ (2013), TARALLO (2007), BRAGA (2010), OLIVEIRA E SILVA( 2010). The research was carried out by meeting local residents with ages between 20 and 85 years old, female and male, with levels of education from elementary to higher education. This research indicates the popularity of weak R (tepe) between the eldest people with lower level of education and a gradual replacement of weak R (tepe) for strong R between younger speakers with higher level of education. |
