| Resumo: | Esta pesquisa analisa as representações de genética através de ilustrações em livros didáticos de Ciências. O objetivo foi analisar como as ilustrações relacionadas à Genética estão representadas nos livros didáticos de Ciências, da Coleção Araribá - PNLD/2020, para os anos finais do ensino fundamental. A opção dessa coleção, dentre às doze disponibilizadas aos professores para escolha, se justifica por ser a única coleção recebida por todas as escolas que integram o Núcleo Regional de Educação de Ponta Grossa/PR. A pesquisa de natureza documental, com análise qualitativa das ilustrações, baseada na análise de conteúdo delineada por Moraes (1999). As ilustrações foram identificadas e categorizadas a partir dos critérios imagem (I), atividade (A), manual do professor (MP) e divulgação científica (DC), posteriormente analisadas quanto a categoria de ilustração, ao uso de legenda e a interface com o texto. Os resultados evidenciaram que os livros didáticos analisados contêm ilustrações relacionadas à Genética em todos os volumes, com mais presença no exemplar do 9º ano. Foi possível perceber uma ampla quantidade de ilustrações e a relevância dessas para a abordagem da Genética na coleção analisada, que os autores e editora seguiram as exigências do PNLD e as orientações da BNCC. |
| Abstract: | This research analyzes the representations of genetics through illustrations in science textbooks. The objective was to analyze how illustrations related to Genetics are represented in Science textbooks, from the Araribá Collection - PNLD/2020, for the final years of elementary school. The choice of this collection, among the twelve available to teachers to choose from, is justified by the fact that it is the only collection received by all schools that make up the Regional Education Center of Ponta Grossa/PR. The research is of a documental nature, with qualitative analysis of the illustrations, based on the content analysis outlined by Moraes (1999). The illustrations were identified and categorized based on the criteria image (I), activity (A), teacher's manual (MP) and scientific dissemination (DC), and later analyzed as to the category of illustration, the use of captions and the interface with the text. The results showed that the analyzed textbooks contain illustrations related to Genetics in all volumes, with more presence in the 9th grade issue. It was possible to see a large amount of illustrations and their relevance to the approach of Genetics in the analyzed collection, that the authors and publisher followed the requirements of the PNLD and the guidelines of the BNCC. |
