Tecnologias da indústria 4.0: integração vertical em uma PME do setor de manufatura de equipamentos florestais

Abstract

In the last decades, Brazil has undergone a severe process of deindustrialization. To start the process of evolving the business model to that of Industry 4.0, the ideal is to improve the stages of information collection and analysis, vertical integration technologies aim to connect all sectors of the company from the factory floor to the main board, therefore the objective of this work is to analyze the vertical integration technologies present in the company, this analysis will be done through collected data for this purpose, a bibliographic review was carried out, where the technologies of Industry 4.0 were approached with a focus on vertical integration technologies, data collection took place in three ways, documents provided by the company, participatory observation of the author within the company and semi-structured interviews. With the data collected, an analysis was carried out and concluded that the company already has technologies related to the theme of vertical integration, however, they are in an early stage. The analysis was made based on each vertical integration theme individually, the points where there are vertical integration technologies in the company were scored and what are the impacts that these technologies cause in the production process. Finally, a brief presentation was made to the members of the study unit, where a simplified report with the main conclusions of this work was presented and proposals were also presented for changes and evolution of the theme “Vertical integration” and “Technologies of Industry 4.0” within the company.
