Abstract

The study consists of collecting and analyzing ink temperature data in the flexible packaging manufacturing process. For this, quality tools are used that make sense of whether the process is under statistical control. The methodology used was a research, which was applied in a multinational packaging industry located in the North of Paraná. First, there was a need for a study on ink temperature, due to the excessive number of customer complaints about printing failures and through manual data collection, it was possible to understand at which ink temperature the process works. After that, the deficiency in controlling this variable through quality tools was proven, and the industry understands that it is necessary to use equipment for checking the temperature and cooling of the ink and that there are cheaper ways to use automated systems through a plate Arduino.
