O programa 5S e sua aplicação em uma recuperadora de materiais

Abstract

The 5S program was created based on Japanese cultural characteristics in the early 1950s. It is a quality program that aims to improve the working environment through simplified and organized processes such as the optimization of physical spaces, the disposal of utensils or materials. not needed in the process. It is based on five senses: utilization, organization, cleanliness, well-being, and self-discipline. The objective of this work was to apply for the 5S Program in Inplasul Plastics Company Sudoeste LTDA, specifically focused on the materials recovery sector. The procedure adopted was a case study in which an action plan was determined, training with the sector employees materials recovery and the assessment of the implementation steps. With the application of the 5S program, the following results stand out: empowerment of physical space, better organization of materials in the environment, optimization of working time and creation of a climate of trust and quality in the sector through interpersonal relationships.
