Aplicação do Mapeamento do Fluxo de Valor (MFV) em uma linha de produção de empresa de nutrição animal

Abstract

The purpose of this article was to analyze a production line of a company of animal nutrition, to identify the waste entered in this line of production using the tool Value Stream Mapping (VSM). The case study was conducted on line manual packing of extruded feeds. The line has six operators and five jobs. Information has been obtained in the process, for the drawing of the map of the current state. Improvements have been proposed based on the principles of Lean Manufacturing for the future state map. With the current state map identified that: (i) two stages of processing had more operators than necessary; (ii) the process featured streaming due to the generation of intermediate inventory between workstations. With the map of the future State could achieve the following improvements: (i) to combine two processes to be reduced two operators; (ii) more frequent movement of pallets to ensure the continuous flow of the process.
