Abstract

The aim of this work is to start the efficient characterization of the waste released by the use of hair extensions in curly hair. For many years curly hair and the use of synthetic braids have been neglected by large industries, and to change this movement of almost segregation this This project aims to reduce the residual amount caused by the use of Kanekalon braids, and can also be applied in cases of Jumbo braids. This residual decrease will eventually increase the life of the Kanekalon hairstyle, as it will maintain a longer glossy appearance to the synthetic material and will diminish the whitish appearance at the link between natural and synthetic hair. From the characterization previously mentioned, this paper aims to study and consequently the learning related to manipulation and development of a new formulation for type 4C curly hair shampoo with Kanekalon synthetic braids.
