Abstract

This study had as proposal a premise concerning the supervised traineeships, so that they become viable and fulfill its role in the construction of new knowledge, so it is a bridge between Universities and enterprises through the traineeship reports. There is the necessity of constructing a structure of supervision and monitoring of the teaching process in order to accomplish the principle of quality of the profession graduated from an engineering degree or other areas where the traineeship is required. The process control could be done through the managing of the pieces of information produced in this traineeship, however the concern must be, first, from the institutions of higher education, regarding the supervising professor (his or her qualifications), then regarding the process, who controls the information and how it is done. If this thinking is applicable to curricular traineeship as generator of information for the managing of knowledge as a method of control to the process as definer of the directions of the quality of the teaching in the trainee‟s education, thus it can envision a new way or method that makes the supervised traineeship important in the undergraduate‟s formation.
