Estudo da gestão da qualidade total e sua influência na produtividade industrial

Abstract

Over the years, it has become increasingly important to manage the resources used in industrial production, as well as the use of management tools that allow better evaluation and quality control in production processes. Organizations should apply total quality management as a business strategy, allowing better opportunities to achieve advantages even in an increasingly dynamic and competitive market. This becomes possible by developing a culture focused on quality, focusing on more productive results and total customer satisfaction. This work aims to study the total quality management tools and to identify if the use of such tools and methods for quality control and evaluation can influence in some way the increase of industrial productivity. The research is exploratory and descriptive, carried out through a bibliographical survey of factors related to total quality management, and in the form of multiple cases analysis, aiming to find a basis for the main question of the research. Even with some deficiencies during the application and evaluation of the tools in the cases studied, the results found allowed the establishment of a relationship between the use of quality tools with significant improvements in the production process, and consequently the increase of the productivity of the industries.
