Proposta de redução do desperdício de embalagens no processo de envase de leite UHT em uma usina de beneficiamento de leite na região Sul do Brasil

Abstract

For a company to place a competitively priced product on the market, it needs to minimize its production costs so that it does not alter the quality of its final product. Thus, the present study aims to propose the reduction of packaging waste in the UHT milk packaging process in a milk beneficiation plant in the southern region of Brazil. For this, a case study was carried out in a milk processing plant in southern Brazil, aiming to collect data, analyze and reduce the main causes of waste of final product and packaging during the packaging of UHT milk through the process FMEA, analyzing the modes and effects of failures to prioritize and address them. As a result, actions developed by the maintenance sector were identified, such as an improvement of the preventive maintenance plan and the preparation and implementation of a verification checklist of the machines before the beginning of the packaging process were identified as the most relevant to reduce losses during the production process, consequently, decrease of the costs of production and increase of the profit of the company.
