Armazenagem: um estudo de caso em uma unidade militar

Abstract

It is known that the armies have always had concern for the storage of their materials, and over the years, a restructuring of procedures and techniques took place in strategic decisions. The importance of storing the materials in the most appropriate way and create procedures that can generate location and transport more efficient, went on to become a decisive factor in any employment miliary. In this sense, the present study aimed to analyze the procedures and storage techniques used in a supply of materials of a military unit of the Brazilian Army. The study had an approach focused on a qualitative study of exploratory and descriptive character, predominantly the case study. The research was conducted based on information collected in the storage section of the military unit, identifying procedures regarding the receipt, storage, separation and shipping. Was also carried out observations of the industry and interviews with senior officials, supervisors and assistants, and can identify and refer to the knowledge of procedures and storage techniques used. In the end, resulted is a constant search for the sector to be being adapted to what is newest on the use of equipment, procedures and methods of storage, even in the face of technical training difficulties.
