Estudo das políticas públicas da área de saúde através do programa saúde da família no Brasil

Abstract

The PSF advocates a new model of health care, offering dynamic strategies as a way to revert to old form of care model, all focused on promoting the quality of life of the individual and his family and as a result the community, promoting through programmatic actions Inter sectoral and ensuring Access to health services as the Constitution requires. This study aims to show an analysis of reflection on the PSF and its functionality while the inclusion of strategy users in the Unified Health System and its effective implementation as Public Health Policy. Accordingly an attempt was through a literature search and qualitative address topics such as: history, basic assumptions, family-focused care model and the advantages and disadvantages of the program. Considering all the information and even though we are far from complete reorganization of the NHS, the PSF shows that it is possible through proper operation together with local reality always obeying fundamental principles and guidelines, causing a favorable impact on the health conditions of the population, and humanization of care and the bond of commitment and responsibility established between health services and population make the Family Health Program a project of great transformative potential of the current care model.
