Implicações no meio ambiente decorrentes da ocupação desordenada na área urbana do município de Concordia/SC

Abstract

The present study aimed to identify the resulting main implications on the environment from the unplanned occupation on the urban area of Concórdia / SC, through documentary and bibliographical research. The historical information show us that the urbanization of the city has occurred in an expedited manner and with no planning, resulting in environmental impacts such as the formation of degenerated areas, soil impermeabilization, interference with wild fauna and flora, increased generation of waste and sewage, reduction of recreational areas, caused by occupation of the hillsides levels of hills and near the Queimados river´s areas, which crosses the downtown, changing environmental quality causing many flooding, especially after your channeling. Many environmental measures should be implemented. However, the Municipal Master Plan foresees actions intended to improve the soil occupation, urban drainage, gallery forest and sewerage, providing a better quality of life for the population.
