Aplicação da metodologia SLP no projeto de arranjo físico de uma indústria metalúrgica

Abstract

This work presents a study classified as a quantitative and descriptive study of a macro layout project in a metallurgical company based on layout tools and the application of the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) methodology. The study begins with the diagnosis of the current structure of the company, then the identification of the type of physical arrangement most appropriate to the factory production standards, and the application of the SLP methodology to develop a new physical configuration, starting from some restrictions and a Predefined terrain. The study was consolidated with the presentation of three different alternatives of physical arrangement, which underwent an evaluation according to criteria chosen by the managers and designers to identify the most efficient alternative. The chosen arrangement includes a covered area of 1700 m2, with well defined sectors, and adequate spaces for materials movement, and also with twice the current productive capacity.
