Abstract

This monograph presents the report of application of a method of qualification of raw material in the process of inspection of receipt of a company. The research method presented is part of an action research due to the development roadmap, which included a normative research and practices already used in other organizations, followed by the development of a method tailored to the needs of the company studied and finally Implementation of the new method. This approach follows from the viewpoint of waste reduction of the Toyota Production System and Assured Quality through qualification of materials. It results in perceived improvements in the process over a period of one year after implementation and if both objectives have been achieved, which are: Improvement in Quality regarding post-receipt materials, which is the main objective, and the reduction of Loading inspections on receipt. The main objective has been achieved and the second requires a longer stabilization period, and an immediate conclusion cannot be drawn.
