As políticas públicas da Secretaria de Esporte, Cultura e Recreação como componentes essenciais na gestão pública do município de Telêmaco Borba

Abstract

The present research searches to understand how the citizens of Telemaco Borba perceive the actions of public policies focused on culture. The interest for the study arises from the observation of behavior change of citizens in situations of social vulnerability, which according to them are attributed to the interaction with cultural and sports activities. During the realization of the research we try to know the actions that are being done within the public cultural policies in the municipality. For this, we analyze the historical and cultural context, as well as the legislation pertinent to the subject. Wecollect data from the management team and residents to see how these actions have impacted their lives. We present as results of the research a delineation of the work that is being done in said municipality, its mishaps and possibilities of attendance to the Municipal Plan of Culture.
