A importância da leitura no processo de ensino e aprendizagem na educação à distância

Abstract

This paper discuss about the importance of reading in the learning process in distance learning. In this way, it is understood that society is going through a time of great social and technological change, and at a similar rate, education creates new ways to adapt to new social rhythms to integrate more and more people to school environments. Distance learning has to satisfy the demands of today's fast development social environment. Therefore, this modality, the forms of teaching and learning are more complex and make use of various technological tools. However reading is fundamental and necessary to be able to give student progress their course activities. From this perspective emerged the intention of investigate the importance of reading in teaching and learning. Thus, we sought to address the historical trajectory of distance education and its relationship with society and yet relevant information about the importance of reading in general and its in distance learning, the limitations of interpreting texts and strategies for understanding thereof.
