Abstract

Workplace accidents have often been associated with employers offering unsafe working conditions. The construction industry due to the high number of accidents stands out among other sectors. Seeking a culture preventions and effective tools for managing health and safety in the work PCMAT is a program that develops preventive actions in order to advance to the risk. The work sought to raise all costs incurred with the implementation of this program by identifying all the elements that can make the system, based on the activity being performed, in order to provide you operability. The research adopted consisted in qualifying and quantifying all personal protective equipment, implementation and installation of collective protection equipment, signage, fire extinguishers, maintenance of machinery and equipment, training and lectures, technical cost for program design and safety assessment thereof. Discriminated against all elements as unit and quantified rode up a spreadsheet in which raise the total cost of the program, and compared in percentage how much security against the cost of the work.
