Estudo comparativo do desempenho e possíveis patologias por tração em argamassa tradicional e argamassas poliméricas

Abstract

The objective of this document was to identify the difference between the mortars: Traditional, Polymeric, and its relations with the pathologies of the constructions, with the objective to demonstrate that the materials like: blocks, concrete bricks and ceramics, do not possess the structure to support work of the material in a long length term. In the bibliographic review, the properties, advantages and or disadvantages of each type of material were analyzed, being traditional or polymeric. In which it concerns the polymer mortar, two brands were analyzed, which are mortar polymeric 1 and mortar polymeric 2. They were taken into consideration bearings like: How long has it been under use; Acceptance in the market; and its features. The method used in this work report was the comparative study of the tearing test, accelerated ageing and water retention. The data obtained with the results of the tests demonstrated a consistency with the objective of the work wanted in the materials, since the test with the polymeric mortars demonstrated a mayor probability of pathologies in constructions with traditional mortars
