Caminhos para a fotografia artística: pós produção digital

Abstract

Photography can contribute in different ways in society and creating narratives is just one of its many functions. This monograph intends to approach some methods used for the photographic narratives construction through the artistic photography and tries to reflect on the photographer as stories creator and to relate the photo artistic with the narrative. Through the exploratory research, it explains some necessary studies to better understand the production of artistic photography and its relations with the photographer and digital post production. In order to obtain information about the artistic photographic construction, three photographers were analyzed, which were chosen according to criteria such as the use of digital manipulation for photographic finalization, information availability of artistic constructions and a common theme for comparison of the obtained data. As a result, there was a gathering of information and particularities about the photographic conception of each author, in which the data could be confronted and related to the exposed theories.
