Uso da tecnologia para aperfeiçoamento da cadeia bovina de engorda: um estudo de caso em fazendas no interior do Paraná

Abstract

This study proposes, with the use of conceptual agribusiness tools, to analyze the outcome of using new technologies on cattle confinement throughout Paraná State. To reach this goal, a data research is needed to understand if the existing technologies and its use on rural businesses are efficient enough to consistently improve their results. It is also important to discuss the current economical conjecture of Brazil and its effects for the agribusiness industry, citing, through references, numbers and projections for the coming years. An analysis is made of the existing barriers to insert those technologies, observing the process as a whole, beginning with the weaning of the cattle until the delivery for the slaughter house. And lastly the is a conclusion, pointing out data and facts, checking the outcomes and proposing subjects for future studies. In the end, some results of the present research were perceived as: the valorization of time as the main factor in obtaining efficiency of the productive processes, the identification of governmental bureaucratization as one of the obstacles to the sector and the constant improvement and use of technological processes.
