Mantenimiento del sistema de telefonía móvil restricta (TMR) en central hidroeléctrica Itaipu Binacional

Abstract

Maintenance has become a cornerstone in the world of industry and the communications industry could not be the exception, especially in the field of mobile telephony, which is one of the most used today. The presence of failures and failures in these propagation links are the cause of signal losses, of nonavailability of the system, causing operational costs and discomforts to users. In this context, the objective of the present study was to analyze the performance of the restricted mobile telephone system (TMR) in the Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Station from the standpoint of maintenance, due to the continuous demands of the users of the sector and the statistics of repairs and Maintenance to which these telephone equipment are constantly subjected. The monograph was framed within a research of descriptive character under the documentary bibliographic modality and case study. For the development of the same, theoretical information has been collected as well as statistical reports have been used to maintain these equipment from 2011 to 2015. It has been concluded that the performance of the Restricted Mobile Telephony System (TMR) does not provide the necessary coverage, causing signal losses, providing poor service, which requires constant maintenance.
