Sinalização de segurança em uma indústria: estudo de caso

Abstract

The security signaling exercises guidance in preventing accidents in the industries. The purpose of this monograph is to perform a case study to verify adherence to the Regulatory Norms (NR) that rules the security signaling theme in labor environment. The case study refers to a small industry in the region of Curitiba, where one shearing department area and five machines were valuated. The methodology used was, firstly, to elaborate a checklist contemplating the items that standardize the issue in question. Afterwards, it was conducted an on-site inspection in order to document, with photos, relevant legislation items on the environment and on the machines. Finally, it was applied the checklist and performed the analysis of the results in terms of adherence to the legislation and possible penalties. The result found was the partial attendance to the analyzed legislation, being highlighted the low adherence to the NR 12 and NR 26. It is also noteworthy that the identified non-compliant items imply, according to NR 28, to a fee worth more than thirty thousand reais.
