Abstract

Brazil is a country highly dependent on transport by road instead of rail and the large amount of navigable rivers that have. The Brazilian highways are used by all kinds of vehicle and, significantly, by large trucks carrying all sorts of cargo on the roads and out of these charges, there is the transport of one type of product classified as dangerous. This is a charge that requires an entire logistics, it represents great potential destructive on the surrounding nature and the human being himself. This work, which aims to analyze the causes of accidents of hazardous cargo on the highway with the main cause of driver/conductor. Associated with the human factor, are other, no less important, such as road conditions, the vehicle/equipment, loading/product, supervision/legislation that regulates the transport of these cargoes. Thus, for this study established a roadmap in which we sought through a survey conducted with a group of truck drivers carrying dangerous goods originated in the metropolitan region of Curitiba. make a survey of what the driver thinks through a survey. The objective of the research is to survey information on what the driver thinks about this subject. The title of this work is Accident Cargo Transportation of Dangerous Product in taking Highway As Main Cause Driver/Conductor. The survey results confirmed the initial thesis of being the driver the main causes through their unsafe acts added to unsafe conditions to which it is subject. Despite the driver being the principal causes of accidents appears not in isolation but in conjunction with other causes inherent in the activity. The study sought to learn about the issues related to recurring causes of accidents and what measures taken in respect. Among these measures is a highlight for the new law popularly called “law of rest”. There, in this study, in the basement graphs that demonstrate a need for academic research to look into the data collected to reveal more scientific accuracy and clarity conditions in which loads are carried with such great content dangerousness, and especially as are the safety conditions of work of those who, under the label of simplistic “truckers” are responsible or making the farthest reach of the country all that a truck can carry.
