Medidas de controle de riscos de um laboratório de vacina viral veterinária: estudo de caso

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the control measures in a laboratory veterinary viral vaccine Curitiba through documentary analysis. Evaluate the use of personal protective equipment ( PPE ) and ( EPCs ) by analysis of the Program for Prevention of Environmental Risks - PPRA and identify the compliance of biological , chemical and physical hazards according to the regulations 6 ( NR 6) 9 (NR 9). The object of study was the laboratory for viral vaccine a public institution of Curitiba - PR. Having methodology as documentary and bibliographic research and assessment of security conditions of a laboratory -based document PPRA. Comparing with the Information Sheet Chemical Safety - MSDS, it was observed that there were gaps in the sectors assessed in relation to respiratory protective PPE at 9%. Comparing with the PPRA MSDS was found that 183 EPIs were recorded, missing the inclusion of PPE in 16 different chemicals . And this absence of 9 %. It turned out not to include detail of PPE in the percentage of 7 % , 10 % , 12 % , 6 % , 17 % , 2 % , 27 % and 8 % respectively of Sector 1 to Sector 8 . Considering the results and analysis, it was concluded that the above discussed objectives were achieved despite the limitations of data collection due to constraint correct input on the premises by the standards of biosecurity.
