O hibridismo artístico do espaço cultural AP da 13

Abstract

This research presentes the artistic hybridity of the apartment and cultural space “AP da 13”, located in the city of Curitiba. It discusses the meaning of hybridity and its presence in contemporary art. The bibliographic research is complemented by an open interview where the three people who live in the apartment describe the environment and relate its physical structure with themselves, the local art practices and artistic languages. The research sought to document the presence of cultural hybridity in this place through the answers and questions brought by the interview. The study shows the understanding of the importance of the “AP da 13” to the development, fruition, socialization, and teaching of art in present times.
