O desenvolvimento da linguagem algébrica e suas contribuições para a sala de aula

Abstract

A considerable parcel of students enter school with the prejudice that the discipline of math is the most difficult and, a large majority makes this prejudice a reality, having difficulties with math. In object of reduce this student resistance to this discipline there is many researchers investing in methods for convey the content of attractive form. In this intention appear several mathematical trends, between them the history of mathematics. But in order to work with the history of mathematics in the classroom is necessary that the teacher have knowledge of this. So, in this paper we present part of this story, more specifically we bring a little of history of algebra to the knowledge of teachers and at the end of each session we will point some suggestions that can be used in the classroom.
