Avaliação dos laboratórios de química das escolas estaduais em município da região sudoeste do Paraná

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the chemistry teaching laboratories of a municipality in the Southwest Region of Paraná. Initially was quantified schools that have the teaching laboratory. Following was created a script which items and how they would be evaluated. Among the items evaluated are the structure, reagents, glassware and security conditions among others. Noting the lack of literature on the subject, was taken as the base material developed by the Regional Chemistry (CRQ-IV), which served as supporting material to conduct the survey in laboratories. It was observed that the vast majority of schools of teaching laboratory has not, however, exhibit conditions that have to be used in practical classes. However almost all points liable to laboratories showed improvement, but the disorganization of some spaces is one of the most important factors is wanting. Another factor to be noted with some concern is the safety of students in these spaces, because many of them did not have essential safety items.
