O ensino da química experimental com materiais alternativos

Abstract

The lack of student interest in the discipline of chemistry is a constant concern among professionals. In this work, we present experimental activities of organic chemistry content with the preparation of a handbook of practical activities using alternative materials for low cost, that can be applied in public schools high school. The work was developed in a Public School southwestern Paraná, with the preparation of handout practices and development (application) activities with students of the 3rd year of high school night. The experimental activity carried saponification reactions involving polymers, compounds separation techniques using the chromatographic method. During the experiments, the students were excited, but showed interest in the practices developed, a positive result in relation to the making of the book, which helped to contribute to the teaching / learning of the students and serve as an alternative material and support teachers who do not have access to laboratories and reagents for teaching chemistry and wish to improve their classes because, trial lessons are of paramount importance in the process of learning chemistry.
