| Resumo: | Esse trabalho teve como objetivo principal fazer aproximações teóricas dentro da área de tradução de poesia, segundo as teorias de Roman Jakobson, Walter Benjamin, Haroldo de Campos e Mário Laranjeira, principalmente. Para tal, foram escolhidos poemas das escritoras Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, poeta portuguesa e Hilda Hilst, poeta brasileira, com suas respectivas traduções para a língua inglesa. Além de buscar um resgate histórico diante os processos de tradução, e a sua relação com os conceitos da língua e da línguagem, houve a tentativa de analisar as possibilidades existentes e visíveis na materialidade da palavra enquanto evidência da línguagem poética durante o ato tradutório. Verificou-se, no entanto, que a subjetividade poética além de imanente e inerente à linguagem reside no próprio ato criador do tradutor. |
| Abstract: | This work had as its main purpose to make theoretical approximations within the area of translation of poetry, according to the theories of Roman Jakobson, Walter Benjamin, Haroldo de Campos and Mário Laranjeira, mainly. For that, selected poems were chosen from the writers Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, Portuguese poet and Hilda Hilst, Brazilian poet, with their respective translations into the English language. In addition to seeking a historical rescue from the processes of translation and its relation to the concepts of language, there was an attempt to analyze the visible and existing possibilities in the materiality of the word as evidence of the poetic language during the translation act. It was verified, nevertheless, that the poetic subjectivity besides immanent and inherent to the language, resides in the very creative act of the translator herself. |
