Comparativo orçamentário utilizando os sistemas construtivos convencional e Light Steel Framing

Abstract

With the national economic instability and the construction setor’s decline in recent years, it’s necessary to rationalize the productive processes of the sector. Therefore, one of the alternatives is the use of Light Steel Framing (LSF). That said, the present study made a comparative analysis of costs of LSF in relation to the conventional building system in a construction in Pato Branco-Pr, aiming to provide inputs for further analysis of the construction of this type of structure in the region. After presenting the projects of each construction method, the cost composition of both systems was performed and then the pricing of these systems was done through two sources: the SINAPI table and the local market; A budget comparison between the systems was carried out. Finally, it was verified that the total cost of the construction analyzed using the LSF system was higher than the cost of the same with the conventional system in 15%. However, this analysis does not consider the indirect costs and the construction time, which are advantageous to the LSF. Although not yet widespread in the region, the LSF system is expanding and gaining market share, and it is hoped that this work will contribute to this rise.
