Abstract

This paper presents the design and implementation of an improvement for lubricationand automation of the main unit responsible for production. This prototype is constituted by a metal structure composed of a stainless-steel frame, inside it will be the activation command, will have a metering pump with a time slider, a reservoir specific lubricating oil 4 liters capacity of the equipment and level sensor to that will not miss the lubricant has a type gauntlet button 3 positions for manual or automatic mode drives and signaling LED. Lubrication is an operation which consists of introducing a suitable substance between solid surfaces which are in contact with each other and perform relative movements. That suitable substance is typically oil or grease prevents direct contact between solid surfaces. When coated with a lubricant, the friction points of solid surfaces causes the solid friction is replaced by Fluid friction, I e friction between a solid surface and a fluid. Under these conditions, wear between the surfaces is very reduced, thereby decreasing the sudden breaks avoiding corrective maintenance downtime.
