Método construtivo simplificado de um dispositivo de usinagem comandado numericamente por computador

Abstract

This paper presents a prototype and the execution of a computer numerically controlled milling machine, whose objective is to demonstrate a simplified method of constructing it as well as a low cost.Numerically computer-controlled milling machines are machines with the purpose of producing series parts with excellent quality and great agility, being able to machine the most diverse pieces in the most varied materials according to the characteristics of each machine.In order to compose its structure it was used materials with the adequate resistance and of easy manufacture, through tests it was verified that the MDF is the most suitable material. For further operation of the motors that move the axes of the machine was used a free CNC control software available on the internet.After its manufacture and testing, it was verified that its performance was satisfactory.
