Proposta de melhoria da qualidade do ar interno de uma indústria moveleira

Abstract

This study was conducted to development of a proposal for improving the indoor air quality of a furniture industry in the city of Missal, in the state of Paraná. This industry is characterized by self-potential generation of waste gases, having consequently a significant potential polluter. To be successful in this study, the methodology used was the literature research and data collection on site. The main issue raised was the degradation of the catchment system, thereby generating the inefficiency of it. In seeking the welfare of all users of the studied area, has been proposed for the efficient collection of atmospheric emissions of the furniture industry. The main conclusions at the end of this work were all machines must be connected to the pipes collection, the cyclone should be replaced by a larger geometrical, the centrifugal fan of the collection system must have 13 hp and still some recommendations to maintain the safety of employees.
