Abstract

This research presents the development of a method of waste recovery of instant noodles, through of the burning in boiler, cost effectively and framed the financial reality of the company that enabled the project. By the study of methods of burning in boilers and specific legislation and its possible environmental impacts in the use of waste noodle in aid of the burning of wood splinter. The instant noodle residue used in this study comes from leftovers or errors in the manufacturing process steps, which makes it unsuitable for commercialization and the noodle that also returns the points of sale with the validity period exceeded. The method of burning was chosendue to operating characteristics of the boiler and the characteristics inherent to the residue of available noodle in the industry. This method consists basically in the transport of waste from storage to the boiler where it is mixed with pine splinter and burned. Besides the burning in the boiler, also presents itself as an alternative to reinstatement of waste in the dough and soup manufacturing process and sale for animal feed production plants. Brings as result of the study the situation in which the burning of waste in the boiler, is justified only when the calorie residue value is less than the calorie chip value, because the value paid by the animal feed factories do not justify the use of waste as fuel.
