Abstract

The work sought among the many files found in the literature, synthesize and expose as clearly and coherently as the Carbon Credits works, and how it came about because of his origin, found means to an approach that, although teaching and writing for who has access to the content of higher education, it was easy to understand and with it , awakened the curiosity of explanation , as a manual pre understanding, that in the process, and the questions relevant to the subject matters were resolved and if necessary could deepen the basis quote found in the references. Gone was thinking about how the carbon market could influence a company to invest in a flexible mechanism and, in addition to using the cleaner development mechanisms, could wonder if, somehow, was relevant and/or interesting towards his model of the work process and obtain a certification as a consequence, to obtain a differentiated and improved market. Based on these assumptions, the study was conducted resulting in an overview of the subject, how the carbon credit market and its variations works, demystifying that Brazil as a developing country could not be part of the process, and demonstrating that even being specific news, Brazil has plenty of market for the sales of carbon credits, how much to buy, and its enhanced technologies make all the difference when investing in a more sustainable development.
