Estudo da gestão ambiental conforme a agenda ambiental na administração pública –A3P no setor público ambiental do Município de Chapecó - SC

Abstract

This paper has consisted at on approach of environmental management in the context of agenda A3P at a public municipal entity. The implementation of A3P on public agencies seeks to insert an Environmental Management throughout the organization, fighting the waste of public property and natural resources, besides including social and environmental criteria. It constitutes also as a new proposal to management that encourages environmental education. The study done aimed to analyze the conformity of sustainable practices according recommendations of A3P on Department of Rural Development and Environment -SEDEMA of Chapecó - SC. It has been checked through research sources, documentation, questionnaires, direct and participant observation the conditions of present environmental management in the institution, comparing the obtained results with the guidelines of A3P. Based on the results, was contested that the institution has a partial membership to the recommendations on A3P. So that doesn’t have membership at sustainable bidding, employees’s qualification and awareness, among others environmental aspect. Some policies may be modified and optimized through adoption to new management structure, resulting in a minimization of negative environmental impacts caused by SEDEMA, quantified and presented in this study. This paper can contribute to a reference source about the subject, whose publications are still scarce in the country, encouraging the adoption of A3P in other public institutions.
