Abstract

The present study had for objective to identify the biology efficiency of the use of milk replacer in the substitution of whole milk in the growing calves in the properties directed the milk activity. The work ware be realized in UNEP Cattle Ranching in the Parana Technologic Federal University, UTFPR – campus Dois Vizinhos, in the period of May to Setember 2011 This study ware be made with 32 animals adopting experimental delineation to perhaps in 4 treatments 100% whole milk, 34% milk replacer 66% whole milk, 66% milk replacer 34% whole milk e 100% milk replacer and 8 repetitions. Measured the daily average consumption, the weight profit, the alimentary conversion. analyzing the animals performance before the milk replacer levels, to became the growing most viable of these properties. It had a negative linear response for include milk replacer in the diet, for the following variables: 100%, 66%, 34% milk replacer, for hearth girth gain and length gain didn´t have effect of the substitution of milk for the milk replacer, while for of dry matter intake, percentage of dry matter intake, average daily medium gain, feed conversion and final weight the inclusion of milk replacer was negative.
